Envirorally's story
Envirorally is a not-for-profit foundation aiming to change the face of motorsports by using electric or zero-carbon vehicles to run motorsport events in and around the UK and overseas. Our mission is: Maximum adventure. Zero carbon. This means all of the vehicles that compete in our event have to be EV or zero-carbon – including those that run on bioethanol or biomethanol.
The company is working towards becoming a net-zero entity, so all of the vehicles that participate at our events must be electric or zero-carbon. But in many ways, the most challenging part of our journey is yet to come. We are looking at every element of our carbon footprint, from how we transport vehicles to events and the places we stay to spectator travel. There are a huge number of factors to consider and it's important to us that we never greenwash and are constantly looking for ways to reduce our carbon output.
Envirorally has recently been awarded a sustainability certificate from Planet Mark and took part in their recent Zero Carbon tour.
