In this episode – “How to…build partnerships to benefit local communities” – Fiona Bell of CropDrop shared her experience of setting up a new organisation during the pandemic, and how working collaboratively is vital to its ongoing success.
Fiona has volunteered with Bath & NE Somerset projects using affordable food since 2013, including Bath Foodcycle, ‘Bread for Breakfast’, Keynsham Community Fridge and the Sustainable Food Partnership. She chaired the Bath & NE Somerset Volunteer Centre from 2014-18. Fiona is a co-founder of CropDrop, launched in August 2020, which shares abundant allotment produce with local food projects. She is motivated by fairness, kindness and connections for good.
