High-impact action guide
If you’re concerned about climate, you’re not alone. The most recent data shows three-quarters of people in the UK are worried about the impacts of climate change and nature loss. It’s important we continue to let our elected representatives know about the public mandate for greater action. It’s equally important that we ourselves are able to affect change and make the places where we live better.
The good news is that local climate projects across the UK are already achieving remarkable success! Just look at the hundreds of climate action stories shared by different community groups and organisations.
Carbon Copy wants to make it easy for others to learn from some brilliant examples and to copy their success. So we commissioned leading sustainability consultancy Eunomia to conduct UK-wide research to uncover the characteristics and success factors of selected high-impact projects. The new report and collective action guide, titled From Footprint to Changeprint, was published in March 2026.
The information and insights are useful to all kinds of people. From those who want to learn more, perhaps by attending a People’s Emergency Briefing event or by joining a local sustainability group; to community leaders and decision makers in the public, private and third sector. What makes this action guide exciting is its relevance to so many change makers.
