Helping residents across Cumbria reduce their carbon footprint through promoting low-carbon living
Cumbria Action for Sustainability's story
Cumbria Action for Sustainability are a charity with a vision for net zero in Cumbria by 2037. We work across Cumbria to enable individuals, communities, businesses and local authorities to reduce the county’s carbon footprint and bring about a more sustainable way of life. The charity promotes low carbon living, which is socially, economically and environmentally beneficial. This is achieved though education, awareness and training to empower people to make changes that will help help reduce carbon emissions.
Our projects tackle climate change in all sorts of ways – from helping people to make their homes more energy efficient through to supporting new community energy installations.
