How to… tell powerful stories that inspire everyone to take climate action

In this episode of our series, we are staying in-house, with Carbon Copy’s Chief Storyteller, Isabelle Sparrow and Trustee Andy Knott discussing the power of storytelling.
We cover the fundamentals of developing a story, the challenges of communicating outside your own “echo chamber”, and look at an example of the impact that powerful storytelling can have.
Isabelle is a communications specialist with a background in PR and marketing for the charity and public sectors. She has a postgraduate degree in media practice for development and social change, where she focused on documentary film making in particular. She is passionate about the power of storytelling to explain complex issues and inspire people to take action.
Andy co-founded Hedron, a pioneering change management consultancy. He has a background in PR and has advised top UK companies on the human dimensions of designing and implementing radical change programmes, to achieve lasting shifts in attitudes and behaviours.
