Think big locally

Why carbon emissions?

A recent report by the UK’s Committee on Climate Change highlights that current national policies and plans are insufficient to meet our future carbon reduction budgets. However, reducing emissions further will inevitably involve all of us, as you can see from the hotspots local to you. We need to reduce carbon emissions across all sectors if we are to achieve our net zero carbon targets. There is no shortage of opportunities or places to look, and we must double down on reducing emissions from transportation and in our homes, across the public sector and agriculture, and in commerce and industry.
