Our story

by Simon Turl from Roadchef and Ashley Crookes from Ogilvie - Zero Carbon Tour interview

Roadchef started their sustainable journey ten years ago. They started by looking at their energy costs and food preparation. More recently they have been looking at how to access clean energy, which has led to the installation of over 5,000 solar panels.

Ogilvie have a long standing relationship with Roadchef and have been able to achieve a number of key objectives, over recent years this has included making improvements to their carbon footprint. Ogilvie has a EV policy aiming to upgrade all their car fleets to electric by 2025 and are looking at planting 200,000+ trees in a reforestation project in Scotland.
