The Council is working closely with Reading Buses to help deliver a net zero target by 2030 with new electric and hydrogen gas buses. They are also promoting active cycling and walking with the assistance of government funding. The overall aim is to reduce the numbers of cars on the roads to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality.
