What we are doing is what most companies are doing: recycling all of our cardboard, taking plastics to the tip, issuing staff with uniform that is made out of recycled plastic bottles, and promoting all things sustainable.
I personally put out videos as 'The Queen of Promo', and I only promote sustainable products – products that are made out of recycled materials. The benefit of that is that our customers are delighted that we are educating them and making sure they have a choice when it comes to promotional merchandise. People are starting to really think about these products over the plastic products that they have had in the past that end up in landfill.

Our advice
My personal challenge as a business owner is that I lease my premises, and I would love to replace all the light bulbs and install solar panels onto my building – but I cannot do that as a tenant. I am sure there are grants available, so that is something I would invest in. However, I need a longer lease in order to make that idea pay for itself.
